Overseas Training
Thetrilife.com in Provence 2010
May 29th - June 5th
Thetrilife.com is delighted to be returning to Provence in 2010. Take a look in our gallery to see highlights of 2009!
Thetrilife.com camp is held in the stunning countryside at the foot of Mont Ventoux in the Vaucluse region of France. Richard Jones will again lead the coaching team and we are delighted that elite athletes Ain-Alar Juhanson and Rachel Joyce will be training with you, but be assured that this camp is for everyone from the novice Sprint or Standard distance triathlete through to experienced Ironmen. In addition to a full week of fitness and skill based training there is of course the challenge of Mont Ventoux which we will be climbing during the week. Click here to see the full itinerary from 2009.
Thetrilife.com training camp differs from other training camps that are on offer, in that we hope many of the athletes will have been coached by thetrilife.com in the weeks leading up to the camp. This means that athletes will be able to maximise the training benefits of the camp and not have to spend several weeks after the camp recovering! And, by knowing you as athletes we can provide you with coaching and training sessions that are appropriate for your needs.
In addition to outstanding cycling countryside, we will be using a heated, 50m open air pool, 2 open water swimming lakes (we will be running our own aquathlon) and have access to a running track for drill based run sessions.
On top of this you will be staying in high quality self catering villas and within a short distance of Provencal villages with their colourful markets and lively restaurants - we want you to have some fun in your recovery time too!
