The coaches of thetrilife.com have developed a range of training plans to help you through your triathlon career, from our First Sprint Triathlon Plan through to our Advanced (9 sessions a week) Ironman UK Plan. Our training plans are designed with the profiles of many courses you are likely to race in mind and will do a brilliant job at preparing you for your event.

We also offer race specific training programs that go one step further and include sessions that will prepare you for the characteristics of your race. Technical descents? Sessions will be included to ensure that you practice. Hilly run course? Your program will get you out on the hills.

Your First Sprint Triathlon

Who for? This program has been designed for someone with 3 to 5 hours a week to train. It is assumed that you have been doing some activity in the last 8 weeks. If you have just entered your first sprint triathlon then this is the plan for you! Or you may just want to improve on a previous sprint distance triathlon by using a structured program

Who for? This program has been designed for an athlete with 5-7.5 hours a week to train. It is assumed that you have been doing some activity/training in the last 8 weeks and have gradually built up your hourly exercise to 5 hours. This may be your first standard distance triathlon or you may want to improve on a previous standard distance triathlon by using a structured program.
