Castle Triathlon Series Training Plans

For each of the Castle Triathlon Series triathlons thetrilife.com has provided a Starter Sprint Distance Training Plan (suitable as a training plan for beginners for the Castle Triathlon Series Starter Triathlon), a Sprint Distance Training Plan (suitable as a training plan for beginners for the Castle Triathlon Series Super Sprint Distance), a Standard Distance Training Plan (suitable as a training plan for more triathletes taking part in the Castle Triathlon Series Sprint Plus and Olympic Distance), plus we have a specific plan for athletes taking part in the Gauntlet (half iron distance), which in 2019 is hosted at all the Castle Triathlon Series venues.  For those athletes facing the ultimate challenge of the Bastion, we provide Bastion 24 week training plans and Bastion 16 week training plans that will fully prepare you for this iconic event.

These programmes are great for triathletes taking part in their first (sprint/standard/half/full) distance event or someone that has completed this distance before but wants to improve on their time or have a better experience. Time commitment is 6 sessions a week.
